New London Architecture
There have been quite a few exhibitions about London Architecture
lately, including one last year in that odd underground space in
Broadgate. The latest is the whopping great plastic model at New London Architecture.
It's a 1:1500-scale version of (roughly) Zones 1 and 2, which turns out
to be an I-can-see-my-house-from-here level of detail. The model is
permanent, and there's currently also a temporary exhibition about
London megaprojects. Did you know that they're starting work on
Battersea power station (again!) this autumn?
Free, fascinating, and in the middle of town. What more could you want if you've an hour or two to kill?
