Aaargh! Bleaaaah!

olivepixel has been posting some fabulous photos from Tokyo over the last few days. Of course, I'm going to link to one of the least artistic photos he's posted; you can check out the rest for yourself. Anyway, CAMRA members on my flist should avert their eyes from this monstrosity.

Now, that stands a very small possibility of being nice, and a very large probability of being absolutely vile. However, I do find myself curious enough to want to try it, so I have to wonder if it is available in this country.

More bizarrely, and deeply disappointingly, it appears (at least in the US) to contain neither cider nor condensed milk, the ingredients being "Carbonated water, glucose, sugar, artificial flavor, citric acid" according to http://www.asianfoodgrocer.com/browseproducts/Mitsuya-White-Cider.HTML. I think this is clearly a case to take to Trading Standards (should you find it in the UK). Well maybe taste it first, just in case.

Well, it does just say "Cider meets Condensed Milk", not that it actually contains either...
